Awfarli: Empowering customers’ purchase power both in Lebanon and abroad

Awfarli has been steadily growing its user base despite limited resources, leaving a lasting impression on its clients. Their persistence has paid off, as the team was recently invited to participate in an exclusive acceleration and networking program in France. This opportunity has laid the groundwork for expansion into the French market, with a renewed focus on B2B clients, higher revenue potential, and greater diversification.

KamKalima: Showcasing the Power of Education and Arabic Language

KamKalima’s journey has been one of resilience and strategic visibility. They recently took part in a panel on the importance of education and the Arabic language in the region, where they represented Lebanon. Kamkalima has been actively seeking funding from strategic  investors in the GCC.  This funding will fuel the company’s recruitment efforts and, technological upgrades, which will include the integration of AI into its platform.

Local Host: Building a Solid Foundation for Expansion

Local Host initiated an immediate response to the recent displacement crisis in Lebanon by providing free housing units to affected individuals. They’ve since focused on consolidation, by unifying their multiple companies to streamline their operations. While the winter was slow, Local Host managed to secure strategic investors as part of a bigger plan ongoing round.  This fundraising will help them expand to Saudi Arabia, where they are currently securing their first residential building This marks Local Host’s entry nto its 4th and largest market to date.

Accessoff: Full Speed Ahead on Customer Acquisitions

Accessoff’s journey has been about redefining and refining its growth plans. Despite the situation in Lebanon strongly impacting its customer pipeline, the company managed to recover after things calmed down, finishing the year on a strong note.   Accessoff’s top priority as of now involves an expansion into the U.S. market, promising bigger revenue streams and a larger customer base, as well opportunistic deals with well-funded startups in the GCC.

Upaint: Painting New Possibilities in the GCC

Upaint’s artistic hand is now reaching across borders. After closing a strong year in Beirut, where they have reached their full capacity, they set up an office and production line in The Sharjah Research and Technology Park in Sharjah, UAE — marking their first expansion into a new market. This move facilitates service across the entire GCC region, sparing the company the hurdles that came with operation from Lebanon and availing it to a market of over 60M consumers.

Purpl: Empowering Communities Through Partnerships and CSR

As a remittance aggregator, Purpl’s role in the Lebanese market has been vital. Their latest development, a wallet feature, strengthens their product’s competitive edge over global names like Wish and Bob. Beyond business, Purpl has taken CSR to heart, channeling donations to NGOs and charities like the Lebanese Red Cross. The organization’s influence continues to grow, and an astounding $8Bn has been sent to Lebanon through its platform to date. Purpl has also signed major partnership deals with Alfardan Exchange and Careem Pay, making it easier for GCC expats to send money to their loved ones.
