The roundtable discussion hosted by QEEMA with municipalities and waste valorization stakeholders surfaced a shared sense of urgency, paired with a growing willingness to move from discussion to action.

1. Urgency is driving openness to collaboration

Across discussions, municipalities expressed deep concern about the limited time remaining before landfill closures. This pressure is pushing mayors to actively consider local and inter-municipal alternatives, particularly joint solutions with neighboring municipalities. For many, the situation has shifted waste management from a long-term issue to an immediate governance priority.

2. Structural constraints remain a major barrier

Municipalities face overlapping constraints: limited land availability, tight budgets, dependence on existing centralized service arrangements, and low transparency around actual waste management costs and deductions from the Independent Municipal Fund. Smaller municipalities, in particular, voiced uncertainty about where to begin, from licensing and technology selection to determining viable facility scale, reinforcing the need for shared infrastructure and collective approaches.

3. Decentralized, circular models are gaining traction

A strong technical consensus emerged around decentralized systems built on source separation, local sorting and treatment, high organic recovery, and landfilling only as a residual option. Case studies from Bikfaya, Beit Mery, Ras el Metn, and Ghosta showed that when municipalities commit to separation at source, invest in appropriate infrastructure, and sustain awareness efforts, landfill volumes can be significantly reduced while generating usable outputs.

4. Financial sustainability requires realistic, mixed models

Speakers were clear that revenues from recyclables or compost alone cannot cover capital and operating costs. Viable models rely on shared responsibility, with municipalities providing land or buildings, private operators equipping and operating facilities against a fee per ton, and households contributing through realistic and transparent fees. This also opens the discussion on municipal revenue mechanisms and the need to further examine how they can support long-term service delivery.

5. Governance clarity exists, but guidance is missing

While Law 80/2018 clearly assigns responsibility for household waste management to municipalities and unions of municipalities, many questions remain around implementation. Municipal representatives highlighted uncertainty around tariff setting, private fee collection, budget classification, and acceptable social thresholds, pointing to a need for standardized legal and financial guidance.

6. Inter-municipal cooperation is increasingly central

For municipalities with limited land or low waste volumes, cooperation through unions or informal groupings emerged as a realistic pathway. Participants emphasized that shared facilities, coordinated enforcement, and joint communication efforts are essential to avoid fragmented and inefficient solutions.

7. Citizen trust is a determining factor

Successful experiences consistently showed that technical solutions only work when paired with sustained citizen engagement. Transparent communication, visible municipal leadership, and clear separation rules increase participation and reduce resistance, particularly when new fees or facilities are involved. Early dialogue with hosting communities was identified as critical to managing social sensitivity around facility siting.

8. Momentum for next steps is already forming

Several municipalities signaled readiness to move forward through follow-up meetings, site assessments, data collection, and peer learning visits. There is strong interest in technical matchmaking, shared pilots, and hands-on guidance to translate intent into implementable projects.

Overall insight

The roundtable discussion confirmed that municipalities are ready to explore decentralized and circular waste solutions, but they need structured support to navigate technical choices, financial models, governance arrangements, and citizen engagement.

UNDERSTANDING THE WATER–ENERGY–AGRICULTURE (WEA) NEXUS

Lebanon’s agricultural future depends on how effectively it manages three vital resources:water, energy, and land. The water–energy–agriculture (WEA) nexus provides an integrated lens to understand how these systems interact, and how innovations optimized practices in one can strengthen the others. Water and energy are the lifelines of food production. Every irrigation system, storage unit,and processing facility depends on them. Yet the relationship flows both ways: agricultural practices also shape how much energy and water are consumed or conserved. When one system becomes inefficient, the others inevitably suffer.
The nexus approach encourages collaboration across disciplines and sectors. It moves beyond fragmented fixes toward solutions that reflect how interconnected these challenges truly are. Through innovation, circularity, and technology, agricultural systems can conserve resources while increasing productivity.
Startups are becoming key actors in this transformation. Their agility allows them to design context-based solutions that respond directly to Lebanon’s sustainability needs, from renewable energy and smart water use to waste valorization and adaptive farming.
Together, these innovators form a growing ecosystem proving that sustainability can be both achievable and economically viable.

WHY THE NEXUS MATTERS FOR LEBANON

Lebanon’s economy and food system are highly vulnerable to external pressures. For decades, the country has relied heavily on imported fuel, fertilizers, and food, leaving it exposed to fluctuating global prices and regional instability. This dependence has weakened local production capacity and turned sustainability into a national concern.
At the same time, Lebanon faces mounting environmental stress. Water scarcity

and land degradation continue to worsen, driven by both climate change and outdated farming practices. Over-irrigation, soil exhaustion, and inefficient energy use have placed increasing strain on natural resources, threatening the livelihoods of small and medium farmers. Yet these same challenges are now giving rise to opportunity. The combined economic and energy crises have pushed the country toward decentralized, homegrown solutions. Across Lebanon, startups are experimenting with solar solutions, alternative fertilizers, and soilless
agriculture, building a new model of resilience that directly addresses local realities.

These emerging solutions share three defining qualities:

STARTUPS DRIVING IMPACT ACROSS THE NEXUS

  • Renewable Energy
    Powering agriculture through clean, efficient, and decentralized systems.
    Energy is the backbone of agricultural production; it fuels irrigation, processing, and storage. Renewable energy solutions reduce dependence on costly, polluting fuels and allowfarmers to access reliable, locally managed power. By integrating clean energy into the agricultural value chain, these startups help stabilize production costs and make farming
    more sustainable.

Caesar’s Flame

Caesar’s Flame converts organic and agricultural waste into biomass briquettes and pellets, clean, long-burning fuel that replaces diesel and heavy oil.

By turning farm residues into energy, Caesar’s Flame closes the loop between production and power. It provides farmers and agri-processors with a renewable, locally sourced alternative that reduces fuel costs, lowers carbon emissions, and prevents waste from becoming an environmental burden.

Green Grid Trade

Green Grid Trade enables households, farms, and cooperatives to produce, consume, and trade solar power through a shared digital platform.

The model decentralizes energy generation, giving farmers access to collective solar infrastructure that stabilizes power supply and reduces dependency on national grids. This enhances the sustainability of energy-intensive operations such as irrigation, refrigeration, and food processing.

Nuwatt

Nuwatt designs smart solar systems and software that monitor energy generation and consumption in real time, integrating directly with irrigation and pumping networks. 

Impact on the agricultural sector: By linking energy management to water systems, Nuwatt allows farmers to optimize both simultaneously, reducing waste, securing stable water access, and lowering operational costs.

  • Soilless Agriculture

Transforming how food is grown through water-efficient, space-saving, and circular systems.
As accessible land and water resources shrink, soilless farming is offering new possibilities for production. Through hydroponics, aeroponics, and biotechnology, these startups reduce resource use while expanding agriculture into urban and degraded areas.

Cultiva

Cultiva uses biotechnology to convert banana tree waste into organic fertilizers and soil substitutes that restore soil microbiology and fertility.
Cultiva simultaneously addresses soil exhaustion and waste accumulation. By turning crop residues into nutrient-rich organic matter, it gives farmers a local, affordable alternative to imported fertilizers, reinforcing soil health and closing material cycles.

Urban Leaf

Urban Leaf designs hydroponic systems that grow crops in nutrient-rich water instead of soil, cutting water consumption by more than 80%.
Its systems make farming possible in homes, schools, and small urban spaces, diversifying production sources, increasing water efficiency, and promoting awareness of sustainable food practices.

AgroConnect

AgroConnect integrates aeroponics, greenhouse engineering, and digital monitoring into modular systems suited for both home and commercial use.
The startup demonstrates how precision control and modular design can raise productivity while conserving water and land. It enables high-value cultivation even in non-arable zones, expanding the geography of Lebanese agriculture.

  • Agri-Input Producers

Providing farmers with the resources to cultivate resilient, high-yield crops.
Healthy inputs, seeds, soil, and nutrients form the base of every sustainable system. By developing bio-based fertilizers and preserving local seed varieties, these startups strengthen the foundations of production and help farmers adapt to climate and market pressures.

Grade A Plus
Grade A Plus produces natural fertilizer pellets from sheep wool, rich in nutrients and water-retentive properties. The product improves soil structure, enhances moisture retention, and supports stronger
root systems, reducing the need for irrigation and chemical fertilizers. This helps farmers maintain yields under dry conditions and contributes to long-term soil resilience.

Gharset Kheir
Gharset Kheir collects, enhances, and distributes native Lebanese seed varieties through a national seed bank. By reviving seeds adapted to local climates and pests, Gharset Kheir strengthens food
sovereignty and biodiversity. Farmers benefit from crops that require less water, resist disease naturally, and preserve Lebanon’s agricultural heritage.

INTERCONNECTED INNOVATION: THE TRIANGLE OF SYNERGY

The impact of these eight startups is deeply interconnected in potential. Individually, they tackle specific challenges within the Water–Energy–Agriculture nexus, yet their solutions naturally complement one another. If leveraged collectively, their combined impact could multiply across the agricultural system, turning stand-alone innovations into collective impact.

Some of the strongest examples of this complementarity come from within the same subsectors. Cultiva, for instance, turns banana waste into organic soil alternatives that restore fertility. But not all plants thrive in these soils, and that is where AgroConnect’s aeroponic systems can step in. Together, they make it possible to grow a wider range of crops with minimal water and land.

A similar link exists between Gharset Kheir and Grade A Plus. Gharset Kheir develops local, climate-adapted seeds that strengthen Lebanon’s biodiversity but can struggle with lower yields. Grade A Plus, producing fertilizers from sheep wool, has worked with them to enhance soil quality and boost growth. The collaboration connects resilient genetics with natural soil enrichment, pairing biodiversity with productivity.

Each startup solves part of the challenge, energy, water, soil, or seed, but together, they show how local innovation can address agriculture as a whole. Renewable energy powers production; sustainable agriculture conserves resources; and eco-friendly inputs close the loop.

This triangle of synergy creates a continuous cycle where energy fuels agriculture, agriculture feeds input production, and sustainable inputs make energy and water use more efficient. It’s a model that shows how Lebanon can move from scattered efforts to a truly circular, collaborative agricultural economy.

SCALING THE SUPPORT SYSTEM

The insights drawn from these startups point to a clear direction for Lebanon’s innovation landscape: it’s not only about creating new solutions, but about connecting the ones that already exist. Innovation and interconnection must advance hand in hand.
Encouraging the creation of new ideas remains vital, Lebanon still needs technologies that respond to its specific resource, climate, and market realities. But equal value lies in fostering innovations that bridge sectors and subsectors, where energy meets agriculture,
waste meets production, and technology meets sustainability. These are the points where small breakthroughs can turn into systemic change.
To nurture that kind of growth:

Accelerators and incubators can pair startups from different sectors within joint

programs, prompting collaboration between complementary technologies.

– Investors and donors can prioritize cross-sector solutions, ones that generate value simultaneously for multiple industries or communities.

– Research and academic institutions can drive applied innovation that connects disciplines and translates scientific knowledge into integrated solutions.

– Public partners can strengthen enabling frameworks, from circular economy incentives to green procurement, that make collaboration economically viable.

Over the years, Lebanon has often turned to creativity and resourcefulness to navigate difficult times, turning scarcity into ingenuity and crisis into opportunity. By pairing that same mindset with nexus thinking and interconnectivity, the country can move from individual breakthroughs to collective progress, unlocking an even broader and more lasting impact.

Innovation met collaboration at the Clyntech Accelerator Hackathon, where Berytech, in collaboration with Zaka AI challenged entrepreneurs to rethink, adapt, and pitch bold clean technology solutions in just one day.

The hackathon stood out by bringing together two groups: green innovators with impactful sustainable solutions and tech innovators with tools, prototypes, or smart technologies. By combining these perspectives, participants were encouraged to co-create greentech solutions that could deliver real-world impact.

A total of 25 innovators formed 9 teams, each blending different skills and perspectives. The event welcomed anyone with a green innovation, a tech prototype, or simply a skillset and an open mind to collaborate. Engineers, coders, scientists, and entrepreneurs joined forces to apply their expertise in new ways and tackle pressing clean technology challenges.

Throughout the day, participants worked on:

  • Bringing green solutions and technologies to life through innovative collaborations
  • Applying tech solutions to help grow the clean and green sectors
  • Forming diverse teams with complementary skills
  • Improving and adapting prototypes to fit new needs
  • Building or co-creating greentech solutions designed to make an impact

The energy of the hackathon was matched by the support network around it. Participants were guided by 8 external mentors, 10 Berytech mentors and team members, and a jury of 3 experts, including specialists in AI, sustainability, and entrepreneurship.

The day wrapped up with a pitching competition, where three winning teams were awarded:

  • 1st Place – $750 + fast-track to the accelerator’s first-phase interviews
  • 2nd Place – $500 + fast-track to the accelerator’s first-phase interviews
  • 3rd Place – $250 + fast-track to the accelerator’s first-phase interviews

As a partner, Zaka AI played a central role in the experience. Beyond delivering an engaging workshop on AI for entrepreneurs, they also opened doors to potential training and coaching opportunities for the winning teams.

The Clyntech Hackathon was more than just a competition, it was a space for innovators to test their ideas, collaborate across disciplines, and experience firsthand the value of community-driven entrepreneurship.

The TESSA Program came to a strong and inspiring close during the PowerX Summit 2025, celebrating over a year of strategic support to Lebanese SMEs working toward sustainable, circular, and resilient business models. 

TESSA was funded by Agenzia Italiana per la Coperazione allo Sviluppo and co-funded by the Gouvernement Princier – Principauté de Monaco. The project was implemented by ICU in partnership with Enea, Elis Innovation Hub, Fondation Diane, and Berytech and was designed to empower small and medium enterprises in Lebanon through targeted technical assistance, ecosystem engagement, and visibility support. 

A Program Overview  

Built on Phased, Impact-Driven Support 

TESSA was built on impact-driven support which was structured into two focused phases: 

Phase 1: Green Business Transformation Academy 

  • 18 SMEs onboarded from diverse productive sectors. 
  • 8 hours of group coaching sessions introducing sustainability concepts and market trends. 
  • 64 hours of sector-specific clinics on circular practices in energy, food, waste, and fashion. 
  • 40 hours of one-on-one clinics for individualized diagnostics and readiness assessments. 

Phase 2: Advanced Support & Pilot Projects 

  • 10 SMEs were selected for advanced support (one later withdrew)
  • Each received customized technical assistance across three core domains: 
  • Financial strategy 
  • Legal and regulatory compliance 
  • Technical upgrades for circularity 
  • 11 expert consultants were mobilized to deliver hands-on guidance. 

These milestones reflect TESSA’s commitment to deep, tailored support that equips SMEs not just to understand circularity but to act on it. 

PowerX Summit: Celebrating the Journey 

 During the three-day PowerX Summit 2025, the TESSA booth served as a vibrant space for engagement connecting entrepreneurs, technical experts, and ecosystem actors around shared visions for a green economy. 

The program’s official closing took place on May 14 during a high-level panel on the main stage: 
Sustainability for SMEs: Practical Approaches to Purpose-Driven Growth.” 

Moderated by Ms. Nathalie Khoury, Circular Economy and Sustainability Specialist, the panel featured: 

  • Mr. Saad Maakaroun, Business Development Manager, Green Essence 
  • Dr. Dario Mancinelli, Environment Sector Expert, AICS Beirut 
  • Dr. Mazen Khattab, Strategic Lead, SME Development and Circular Economy Policy 

The discussion focused on grounded, solution-oriented approaches, demonstrating how SMEs despite resource constraints can reduce operational costs, engage customers more meaningfully, and build long-term business resilience. The PowerX Summit offered a powerful stage to close this journey, amplify the voices of participating SMEs, and issue a collective call for continued ecosystem investment in green innovation. 

Reflections from Program Partners 

The event also featured closing remarks from Mr. Harout Hamparsoumian (ICU Representative) and Mr. Samer Salamany (Program Manager at Berytech). 
Both speakers celebrated the SMEs’ achievements and reinforced the vital role of partnerships across development actors, support organizations, and entrepreneurs in accelerating Lebanon’s sustainability transition. 

Their reflections emphasized that systemic change begins with practical interventions, and that even modest shifts in mindset and operations can create long-lasting value economically, environmentally, and socially. 

 A Legacy of Actionable Sustainability 

 As the TESSA Program concludes, it leaves behind a clear legacy: 
Sustainability is within reach especially when grounded in actionable tools, mentorship, and collaborative effort. 

 By combining diagnostics, technical expertise, and targeted coaching, TESSA demonstrated that Lebanese SMEs can thrive in a circular economy and even lead it. 

TESSA may have closed, but the movement it helped ignite is just beginning.

Lebanon’s agrifood sector is a prime example of resiliency. As the backbone of the country’s food system, farms, businesses, and local communities have continuously adjusted to economic instability, political turbulence, and environmental pressures. However, now coming out of a uniquely challenging 2024, accumulated critical challenges call for strategic thinking and innovative, practical solutions.

Understanding the Food System Challenge (FSC)

The Food System Challenge (FSC) is a collaborative initiative by the World Food Programme (WFP) and Berytech, supported by the German Federal Ministry of Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ). It aims to bolster Lebanese Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises (SMEs) in the agriculture and agrifood sectors by addressing core challenges within the food system.

A Closer Look at Pressing Challenges

Food Systems Advisor Bashar Berro explains that food security revolves around four key pillars: availability, accessibility, utility, and sustainability within the food or food value chain. “Lebanon faces disruptions in all four of these areas, which keeps our communities insecure,” he says.

Lebanon’s agricultural systems face growing pressures that call for careful examination and immediate action, particularly regarding resource management and operational practices. Agricultural productivity is significantly threatened by outdated water infrastructure and unpredictable rainfall patterns due to climate change. “Climate change is severely impacting Lebanese Agriculture and Food Systems. Unfortunately, there is a very limited understanding about the expected impact and adaptation measures to keep systems in Lebanon resilient,” Berro adds.

Additionally, food waste has increased because of production inefficiencies, severely impacting sectors such as dairy, meat, and vegetables. The significant dependence on imported food staples emphasizes the pressing need for sustainable substitutes to improve food security and economic stability.

The recent conflict has further strained Lebanon’s agrifood sector, particularly in rural areas like southern Lebanon and the Bekaa region. Farmers have suffered significant losses, with harvests abandoned, orchards damaged, and livestock production severely impacted. The disruption of export routes has added another layer of difficulty, particularly for staple crops such as potatoes, affecting both local livelihoods and market stability.

Exploring Practical Strategies

This series of articles will offer a practical roadmap tailored specifically for Lebanon’s agrifood stakeholders, closely matching programs such as Berytech’s Food System Challenge. It aims to provide agribusinesses and entrepreneurs with useful knowledge and hands-on insights.

  • The first article will outline sustainable and practical solutions to increase water and energy access, essential for farming operations and business continuity. Effective strategies will be highlighted, including the use of renewable energy such as solar-powered irrigation, drip irrigation, and rainwater harvesting.
  • The second piece will focus on local import substitution strategies, intended to boost local economies and lessen reliance on outside food sources. Real-life examples will illustrate successful models that Lebanese agribusinesses can recreate.

Current Challenges

“Economic development and resource sustainability often pull in different directions,” says Nicolas Farhat, Deputy General Manager at Berytech, “but within that tension lies a powerful opportunity: to reimagine growth models that are both inclusive and resource-conscious.”

Recent assessments indicate that the country imports approximately 80% of its food needs, underscoring its susceptibility to external shocks. (U.S. International Trade Administration, 2024)

According to Food Science Expert Hussein Hassan, the biggest challenge in achieving local import substitution in Lebanon lies in the fragmented agri-food ecosystem. “Limited access to affordable raw materials further complicates things,” he explains. Despite this, Hassan is hopeful. “The growing momentum for collaboration between farmers, researchers, and entrepreneurs presents a powerful opportunity to build a more self-reliant and resilient food system, “he highlights.

Lebanon’s shifting economic and agricultural landscape in 2025 presents an opportunity for farmers and rural entrepreneurs to move away from costly dependencies and toward localized, self-sustaining solutions. As traditional supply chains remain unstable and input prices fluctuate, farmers can capitalize on innovation, local resources, and collaborative initiatives to build more resilient, independent agribusinesses. Several practical approaches can help drive this transition, offering long-term benefits despite initial challenges.

“Lebanon’s most promising opportunity is leveraging local to produce essential agri-food inputs, including fertilizers, seeds, and animal feed, locally. The key challenge remains ensuring consistent quality and scalability to compete with imported alternatives,” Hassan continues.

One key opportunity lies in localized biofertilizer production, using organic waste and beneficial microbes to create affordable, nutrient-rich alternatives to imported fertilizers. Farmers can start by composting farm waste or working with cooperatives that specialize in microbial-enriched fertilizers, reducing dependency on external inputs while improving soil health. Though initial investment in technical expertise and equipment may be needed, support from agricultural initiatives and local training programs can ease this transition, making biofertilizers a long-term cost-effective solution.

Another crucial shift is the establishment of community seed banks to preserve biodiversity and provide a trustworthy local seed source. By organizing small-scale seed exchanges or collaborating with agricultural cooperatives, farmers can create decentralized systems that protect traditional crop varieties and reduce reliance on fluctuating global markets. While maintaining seed quality requires proper storage and ongoing management, training programs and partnerships with research institutions can help farmers implement best practices, ensuring long-term sustainability.

Renewable energy integration, particularly through solar power, presents another viable path toward independence. Farmers can start with small-scale solar-powered irrigation or cold storage units, gradually expanding to power food processing and other operations. While upfront costs remain a challenge, available grants, microfinancing options, and cooperative-led projects make these technologies increasingly accessible. By reducing dependence on expensive fuel-based generators, renewable energy adoption not only enhances productivity but also provides long-term financial stability in an unpredictable energy landscape.

Initiatives like these have already started taking shape in Lebanon, with agribusinesses investing in alternative farming inputs, localized seed preservation, and renewable energy solutions. While one of the greatest challenges facing Lebanon’s agri-food sector today is the need to increase productivity and quality despite limited resources, fragmented land, and ongoing economic pressures, “this challenge is also our greatest opportunity,” says Agri-Food and Quality expert Zeina Nakat. “By investing in modern agricultural practices, fostering farmer cooperatives, and prioritizing quality assurance systems, Lebanon can not only boost its agri-food output but also position its products as competitive and trusted in both local and international markets,” she explains.

To maximize agrifood output in Lebanon, focusing on enhancing quantity, quality, and efficiency is essential. Regular monitoring of basic efficiency metrics, such as yield per hectare, post-harvest loss rates, and resource usage, is crucial for identifying weaknesses and tracking progress. Implementing the following practical strategies can significantly improve agrifood efficiency:

  • Combining Traditional and Modern Techniques: Integrating Lebanon’s rich agricultural heritage with contemporary methods can yield exceptional results. For instance, adopting soil testing, targeted fertilization, and efficient irrigation systems like drip irrigation can boost yields while conserving resources such as water and soil nutrients. Moreover, food loss also contributes to environmental degradation, wasting water, energy, and resources while generating unnecessary greenhouse gas emissions from decomposing organic matter. As Lebanon seeks more sustainable solutions, tackling food loss will be a key factor in rebuilding a stronger, more climate-resilient agrifood system.

Identifying Causes of Food Loss in Lebanon

Several key factors contribute to Lebanon’s high rates of food loss, many of which have been amplified by recent disruptions:

  • Inadequate Storage Facilities: Many rural areas lack access to proper storage infrastructure, such as refrigeration or humidity-controlled environments, leading to rapid spoilage of goods, particularly for fresh produce in regions affected by power shortages. (FAO, 2024)

  • Lack of Value-Added Processing: Limited access to processing facilities and agribusiness investment prevents farmers from turning excess or imperfect produce into marketable, longer-lasting products, such as dried fruit, preserves, or frozen goods.
  • Market Accessibility Issues: Many rural farmers struggle to access urban markets due to disrupted trade routes and increased transportation costs, leading to higher spoilage and unsold produce.

Practical Solutions to Reduce Food Loss

To address these challenges and support Lebanon’s agrifood recovery, farmers, agribusinesses, and local initiatives can implement practical, scalable solutions:

  • Improved Storage Solutions: Implementing affordable, decentralized cold storage solutions—such as solar-powered storage units and community-managed refrigeration hubs—can significantly reduce spoilage and create shared cost efficiencies. (UNDP, 2024)
  • Better Transportation Logistics: Developing local transportation cooperatives and optimizing shorter, regional supply chains can help ensure that fresh produce reaches markets on time, reducing spoilage. Entrepreneurship World Cup Lebanon is back with another unique opportunity.

Do not miss the Entrepreneurship World Cup 2022, a program that offers a chance to pitch on a global stage for a share of US$1 million in cash prizes, in addition to in-kind support and investment opportunities.

For the second year in a row, the Holy Spirit University of Kaslik (USEK) is the official national organizer for the Entrepreneurship World Cup Lebanon, in partnership with the Asher Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship (ACIE), Berytech, Beirut Digital District (BDD), Nucleus Ventures, Bloom, and Entreprenergy.
